Classified Christmas Cover-Up

A couple of days ago I met a mysterious one-armed stranger through the friend of a friend cousin's half-sister (twice removed) at midnight on a Chinese junk in the middle of the Adriatic Sea.  The stranger handed me, using his one good arm of course, a brown paper package tied up with string which just happens to be one of my favorite things.

I took the package, and quickly made it back to my awaiting dirigible where my robot pilot flew me home.  When I opened the package I was startled to find a classified government video recording from the early 1970's.  I was even more startled once I watched it, and knew I needed to share it with the world.

But first there was that wacky Mayan end-of-the-world thing on Friday.  I spent that day wrapped in aluminum foil, and curled up in the fetal position under my basement stairs. Some apocalypse that was. What a jip! Talk about being dressed up with no place to go.

Anyways, with that nuttiness all behind us it's time to finally share this video with the world.  This tape blows the pants off anything that WikiLeaks punk has ever posted...

Merry Christmas folks, and have a Happy New Year!

Thanks Todd. If you thought that was scary it's nothing compared to what I had planned. Due to a variety of reasons my "Krampus action shots" got tossed out. It's probably for the best though.

Simply awesome. Love the little subtle effects in the corner of the frame that help to sell it... (the red flashing christmas light hanging on the statue, etc.)

This was a hoot, although I confess to never actually seeing Night Gallery. Anything creepier than the Belsnickle's ok by me! Also, I just came back to your blog tonight after being absent for awhile. I love all the posts with the vintage ads, especially the Kraft ones and those crafty 70s dolls. I enjoyed your dark ride experiment too...I thought it looked great. Well, happy New Year and I'll be back soon!

Thanks for the nice comments Sinisters (I dig your surf rock sound) and Tara (I didn't know of the Belsnickle). There's a few little "Easter eggs" in this thing that I hope people will be able to spot. I'm glad you liked the 70's magazine ads Tara. There's more on the way in 2013. I'm running low on unique stuff to post, and those ads are my fallback.
